4R ATLANTIC HALIBUT - THIRD SEASONAL OPENING DATE

DFO advises that the Atlantic Halibut hook and line (long line) fishery in NAFO Division 4RST, for fixed gear vessels less than 65 feet based in Western NL and Southern Labrador, will open at 0600 hours on MONDAY, August 5, 2019. This fishery is open for vessel class A293 and will close at 2000 hours on August 18, 2019.

*New conditions for this fishery must be obtained through the National Online Licencing System prior to engaging in fishing activities.

**Buddy-up arrangements must be approved through DFO prior to fishing.
