CAPELIN FIXED GEAR FISHERY CLOSING IN A PORTION OF WESTERN NL


DFO advises that the Capelin fixed gear fishery (trap, bar seine - including tuck seine), for vessels less than 19.8 metres in overall length, will close from Broom Point to Point Riche at 2000 hours Tuesday, June 26, 2018.

Harvesters are reminded that all fishing gear must be removed from the water by the closing time.

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Order 2018-114 has been revoked and Variation Order 2018-117 comes into effect at 1800 hours on June 26, 2018.
