Rainbow and Brown Trout
DFO advises anglers that due to improved water temperatures Shoal Harbour River (from coastal waters to 25 meters below the dam) will open to Rainbow and Brown trout angling as of one hour before sunrise, September 10, 2019. Angling for rainbow trout is permitted from coastal waters to a point 25 meters below the dam and angling for brown trout is permitted from coastal waters to a point 23 meters below the dam.
The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Orders 2019-259 and 2019-260 have been revoked and Variation Orders 2019-266 and 2019-267 comes into effect on September 10, 2019.
