LOBSTER FISHERY DELAY AREAS 13A AND 13B

DFO advises that due to significant ice conditions and in consultation with industry, there will be an additional 5-day delay in Lobster Fishing Areas 13A and 13B, noting the earliest the season will open is April 28th. Conditions will be closely monitored and if they persist a further announcement with revised opening dates will be communicated.

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Order 2019-032 has been revoked and Variation Order 2019-037 comes into effect on April 19, 2019.
