NOTICE TO FISH HARVESTERS

Lobster Logbooks

DFO advises that, effectively immediately, lobster logbooks must now be carried onboard the vessel at all times.  It must be completed fully and accurately on a daily basis, including the estimated catch on board, prior to landing and must be made available for inspection if and when requested by a Fishery Officer, as per Item 4 of Schedule 04 - ADM Requirements to Provide Information Returns.

Fish harvesters who do not meet this condition of their licence may be subject to enforcement action.
