3LNO Sea Cucumber Emerging Fishery Opening

DFO advises that the Emerging/Exploratory Sea Cucumber fishery in NAFO Sub-division 3LNO will open at 0600 hours on Saturday, June 1, 2019.

DFO advises fish harvesters who have been selected from the draw,  but have yet to gear-up, that the deadline for gear-up is Saturday, June 15, 2019.

Fish harvesters are advised that they require 100% self-funded At-Sea Observer coverage and have to HAIL at least 24 hours prior to the vessel departure by calling (709) 772-8859.

License conditions can be obtained through the DFO National On-line Licensing System (NOLS).
