GREENLAND HALIBUT FISHERY OPENING IN 4R to UPPER AND MIDDLE NORTH SHORE FIXED GEAR

DFO advises that the Greenland Halibut (turbot) fishery in that portion of NAFO Division 4R, for vessel class A213 (Upper and Middle North Shore fixed gear fleet under 19.81 m under a competitive regime), will open at 0430 hours EDT on June 19, 2019 and close December 31, 2019.

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Order 2019-097 has been revoked and Variation Order 2019-101 comes into effect on June 19, 2019.
