GREENLAND HALIBUT FISHERY OPENING IN 4R TO QUEBEC BASED FLEET

DFO advises that the Greenland Halibut (turbot) fishery in NAFO Division 4R, for vessels based in the Quebec Region, will open at 0430hrs EDT on July 5, 2019 and close on December 31, 2019.

This specific area open is in water depths greater than 125 fathoms, and applies to vessel class A144 and A2300 to A2460.

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Order 2019-120 has been revoked and Variation Order 2019-132 comes into effect on July 4, 2019.
