CAPELIN FIXED GEAR FISHERY CLOSING IN A PORTION OF WESTERN NL

DFO advises that the Capelin fixed gear fishery (trap, bar seine - including tuck seine), for vessels less than 19.8 metres in overall length, will close at 1800 hours on July 15, 2019 from Big Brook to Cape Bauld.

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Order 2019-153 has been revoked and Variation Order 2019-155 comes into effect on July 15, 2019.
