Fixed Gear Capelin Fishery Re-opening in a portion of Notre Dame Bay (North Head to Dog Bay Point)
DFO advises that the capelin fishery for vessels using fixed gear (tuck, bar seine and trap) will reopen to take Capelin on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 06:00 hours in that portion of Notre Dame Bay from North Head to Dog Bay Point (Capelin Fishing Area 4).
Licence conditions can be obtained through DFO's National On-line Licencing System.
The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Regions gives notice that Variation Order 2019-185 has been revoked and Variation Order 2019-192 comes into effect on August 2, 2019.
