2019 Cod Quality Project Opening

DFO advises harvesters that the 2019 Cod Quality project in NAFO Divisions 2J3KLP4R, for Vessel Classes A157, A158, A159, and A294 will open at 0600 hours on Tuesday August 20, 2019.

Licence conditions for all harvesters involved in the project are available via the National Online Licensing System.

Compliance with management measures is essential for the success of this project. This includes the accurate completion and return of all Fisheries and Oceans logbooks, as per licence conditions.

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Order 2019-214 has been revoked and Variation Order 2019-216 comes into effect on August 20, 2019.
