Atlantic Halibut Fishery Closing in 4R to Quebec Based Fleet

DFO advises that the Atlantic Halibut fishery in NAFO Division 4R, for vessels based in the Quebec Region, will close at 23:59 hrs on October 31, 2019.

This closure affects Vessel Classes A500 to A700.

A reminder that the 4R Atlantic halibut fishery remains closed to Vessel Classes A138-144 and A1800 to A1884.

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Order 2019-262 has been revoked and Variation Order 2019-283 comes into effect on October 31, 2019.
